Please make sure that newly appointed Utah Supreme Court Justice Michael Menssen recuses himself from all cases that pertain to the prop 4 gerrymander cases. His signature on the Anti-Prop 4 petition is extremely prejudicial. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Secondly, I am stunned and very angry that you appointed a person who had never learned what it takes to be a judge in a lower court. He has never been a prosecutor or defense attorney either-as best I can tell from tres bio on web site. IT is a GIANT slap in the face of the utah courts, of us voters and his fellow justices to appoint such an unqualified justice to our highest court. A member of the Utah Supreme Court must have the highest qualifications and maximum experience as a judge. !!!!!!!! The fact that Justice Menssen has not shown the morals or wisdom to recuse himself from cases where he is clearly highly compromised, confirms my impression that he is not qualified for this role. !!!!!!!! I am deeply concerned that law and order is being WRECKED by the GOP supermajority in our state. We voters see and despise your obvious rush to grab more and more power from the voters, from the governor and from the courts. !!!!!!!!! I am looking forward to voting you all out as the opportunity arises over the next few years. !!!!!!! I predict that no one will require Justice Menssen to recuse himself . Why? His vote in favor of your gerrymander scheme is precisely what you appointed him for. Please prove me wrong.
