Elimination of homeowner property tax is going to have devastating consequences for Florida's economy. Our economy is already struggling as a direct result of this president's tariffs and threats against non-white Americans, causing a drop in tourism from numerous countries. se savings at all as rental property is taxed at the full rate. Florida already offers a homestead exemption for homeowners which is a huge benefit not offered by other states. However, renters do not benefit from tho aintenance (e.g.: water and sewer), police, emergency services, schools, and more. Simple math clearly demonstrates that eliminating tax revenue will create huge deficits for all Florida municipalities' services such as infrastructure m Florida is known for its beautiful beaches. Without property tax revenue, there will be no funding to maintain, repair, or improve our beaches. Cutting property tax revenue will simply leave our entire state scrambling for ways to pay for the most basic services Floridians rely on. Vote no on thi s irresponsible bill.
