A recent article from Haaretz titled “It's a Killing Field': IDF Soldiers Ordered to Shoot Deliberately at Unarmed Gazans Waiting for Humanitarian Aid,” was released detailing accounts from Israeli soldiers being told to fire indiscriminately into crowds of Palestinians waiting for food in Gaza. These soldiers talk about how the higher ups in command have, once again, dehumanized a civilian population by saying that there are no innocents in Gaza. Israel’s own soldiers are saying that innocents are being murdered and yet you and other politicians in America choose (yes, choose) to remain silent. There is no excuse for you to vote against resolutions stopping our sending of offensive weapons to Israel when such crimes are being committed. You are breaking international and American law by not using your voice and your vote to stop these weapons from being sent to kill innocents. I ask again, in sorrow, how can you live with yourself? Use your voice to support legislation to stop this carnage. Support an arms embargo on Israel now!
