Reject partisan FBI nominee undermining independence and public trust.

The Senate should not confirm someone whose top priority is politi someone who is as unqualified as Kash Patel. The New Year's Day attack in New Orleans underscores why it's important to have an FBI director that has experience, judgment, character, and will prioritize defending the country against violence rather than pursuing personal agendas. Confirming Patel, who has vowed to "come after" critics and promoted false claims of election rigging, would severely undermine the FBI's independence and public trust. The Bureau needs seasoned leadership focused on upholding the law impartially, not an overtly partisan figure bent on waging political battles.
