Why no action to revoke the tarrifs on our allies at least yet? People have lost and are losing their small businesses en masse. This is a disaster for entrepreneurs and everyone who wants to b financially stable by making something of their own or continue their family business. You are one of the most dedicated supporters of local and small buisnesses and I’m alarmed and frankly feel betrayed on their behalf that you haven’t publically spoken up or urged your colleagues to reclaim Congress’s power on this. Why do you not listen to experts on our economy or the voices of the people who may lose their homes and livelihoods or go hungry due to this? We may even experience permanent price hikes now that big companies see that they can raise their prices more and that we have to pay them to obtain what we need to live. Losing small buisnesses and our farmers will worsen this problem drastically. Do you want our resources to be hoarded by the few, or the communities in which they are made and whom they serve? I know you never answer my letters anymore - i must have sent you more than thirty, many I spent hours on, but please hear me. Hear us. We are scared to see prices go up when we know many of us are already living paycheck to paycheck and working several jobs just to afford a worn down apartment and basic groceries. I’m scared this will be the rest of my life. With the arts, sciences, humanities, and freedom of information permanently damaged due to defunding and lack of appreciation from those in power. I don’t understand why you don’t seem to be concerned that our environmental protectors and food banks are being defunded to such a degree. I hear that under the current plan hundreds of federal and national parks will have to close even though they contribute millions more than they cost. Why? Why aren’t we worth it?
