I can't even express the emotions I feel on learning that the Trump administration is actively discussing the annexation of Greenland, including potentially by military force. This would be a horrifying thing for my country to do. Denmark is a sovereign nation, and Greenland is their territory. The United States is under no direct threat and has never before required control of Greenland to maintain our security. Congress needs to stop this immediately. Stand up for your own role in the government. We should not be a regional bully who takes whatever it wants and strips other countries for spare parts. That is uncivilized and un-American. If we end up taking Greenland over, my country that I have known and loved for nearly 60 years will cease to exist, and so will yours. Stop this aggressive talk before it becomes aggressive action.
