I implore you to LOUDLY speak out against the recent actions of the President regarding Russia. The United States of America has stood firmly on the side of democracy for 250 years. The president’s latest actions are a clear cut betrayal of all that this nation stands for. Lifting sanctions on the sale of Russian diesel will not lower US consumer prices; it WILL refill Russia’s war chest. Throttling Starshield was a despicable act. Neither the president, his staff, Musk or SpaceX have said anything indicating this was a mistake, an error, or a technical glitch. It’s been the government saying “we didn’t do it” - they can’t, it’s under private control; but they can order it done. Or Musk saying he didn’t order the slowdown (correct); but SpaceX can do it. Now there’s talk of three nations - the aggressor, Russia, the USA and China - meeting to discuss ending the Russian war against Ukraine?? No! This is not the way the US should be involved. I want a press release from you clearly stating your opposition to these reckless actions. I’d like to know if there’s a way to enforce the bipartisan Graham Act imposing further sanctions on Russia. The continued ability of this president to ignore laws without consequences is infuriating.
