An Open Letter

To: Sen. Sollman, Rep. Sosa, Gov. Kotek

From: A verified voter in Portland, OR

September 4

It seems plausible, and perhaps likely, that the USPS will refuse to deliver thousands of ballots to voters in vote-by-mail states like Oregon. What recourse do we have to get a ballot if our blank ballot is not delivered to us? Are our elections officials prepared for alternative distribution methods? Will we need to go to our county elections office? Are they preparing for this eventuality? How do we ensure that all eligible voters are able to cast a ballot during our voting period? What can voters do to ensure we are all able to cast ballots?
