As your constituent, I’m writing to insist you oppose the Stopping Indoctrination and Protecting Kids Act. This ridiculous and unnecessary legislation is harmful and won’t lead to any improvements in students’ lives or education. It’s a witch hunt to erase trans people dressed up as “protection” as are so many efforts of its ilk. Stop this waste of taxpayer money and every piece of legislation like it. Get back to legislating things that matter, like stopping wars, improving the cost of living, federal minimum wage, healthcare for all, restorative justice, a woman’s right to choose, voting rights, and that type of thing. You know, stuff we sent you to DC to handle.
