Stop Save Act

To: Sen. Surovell, Del. Krizek, Gov. Youngkin

From: A constituent in Alexandria, VA

February 16, 2025

Subject: Urgent Action Needed: Stop the SAVE Act Dear Representative [Representative's Name], I am writing to urge you to do everything in your power to delay or stop the SAVE Act (H.R.22/S.128). This bill, while characterized as ensuring election integrity, is in reality a voter suppression measure that threatens the freedom to vote for all Americans. The SAVE Act's extreme documentation requirements would disenfranchise millions of eligible voters, especially people of color, low-income individuals, women, and young voters. It would also upend mail and online voter registration systems and mandate harmful voter purges. We need your leadership now more than ever! If this bill is signed into law, it will cement the GOP’s stranglehold on our government for generations to come, if not forever. Please get loud! Please use all available parliamentary tactics, amendments, public awareness campaigns, and collaborations with advocacy groups – every tool at your disposal to fight hard against this bill. We must protect the right to vote for all Americans. Thank you for your immediate attention to this critical issue. Sincerely,
