The proposed sale of public lands in Nevada and Utah to private interests is deeply concerning. Public lands belong to all Americans and should be preserved for future generations, not auctioned off for corporate profits or private development. These lands support biodiversity, provide recreational opportunities, and are an important part of our national heritage. Authorizing the sale of thousands of acres sets a dangerous precedent that undermines environmental protections and public land access. Privatization could lead to increased drilling, mining, logging and development with minimal oversight - threatening pristine natural areas. Furthermore, giving away public resources to billionaires and corporations is an unacceptable giveaway of resources that should benefit all citizens. I urge you to reject any provisions that would enable the sale or transfer of public lands to private entities. These lands must be protected and maintained under federal stewardship for the public good. Please stand up for our shared outdoor legacy and natural treasures by keeping public lands in public hands.
