Support IP33. Support equality. Support humanity.

I am contacting you to express my full support for IP 33, the Equal Rights for All ballot measure. This proposed constitutional amendment would enshrine crucial protections for equality and personal freedoms in Oregon. It clearly safeguards the rights of all Oregonians to make private healthcare decisions free from government interference, including reproductive rights, gender-affirming care, and the right to marry regardless of gender or sexual orientation. Securing these fundamental liberties at the state level is vital given the concerning signals from the U.S. Supreme Court about potentially revoking established precedents like the nationwide legality of same-sex marriage. Nearly 3 in 4 Oregonians believe everyone deserves access to necessary healthcare regardless of gender identity. Moreover, over 80% want the government to respect personal choices about abortion and reproductive care. The people of Oregon widely share the values that IP 33 upholds – equality, bodily autonomy, and freedom from discrimination. I urge you to listen to the clear majority voice of our state and take action to approve this common-sense equal rights amendment. Protecting the rights and dignity of all Oregonians should be a non-partisan priority. Please stand on the right side of history by supporting IP 33.
