I’m writing today because I want you to call for Trump to pull the National Guard out of Los Angeles. Their presence there is purposely raising tensions and making people feel significantly less safe. LA residents have a right to protest peacefully against ICE in their city, and the LAPD has already stated that the Guard is not necessary or helpful. Trump is deliberately trying to incite violence and create a crisis by getting the National Guard involved. Also, ICE agents need to show their faces, display identification, and come with signed judicial warrants. If they are the law enforcement officers they claim to be, then they need to act like it. They shouldn’t be running people over with their cars and then fleeing the seen without rendering aid like common criminals. Get ICE out of our cities. Thanks
