Make no mistake, this will be your last term in office. You have abdicated your role as a protector of Article I and have failed to uphold your oath of office. We will do everything in our power to defeat you at the ballot box. Undoubtedly, when the history of this time is written, you and many of your colleagues will be infamous for your inability to uphold the Constitution. The words cowardice and traitorous will forever be attached to your name. I suspect that in less than a year you will see that you are unelectable and won’t run. Don’t worry, we will never forget you. Your political career will be over. The only way you avoid this fate is to grow a damn spine and stand up for what is right!
