Northeastern Arizona Indian Water Rights Settlement Act Choosing The Right
To: Sen. Curtis, Rep. Owens, Sen. Lee
From: A verified voter in West Jordan, UT
July 28
I am writing regarding 1st People's water rights and the bipartisan bill: Northeastern Arizona Indian Water Rights Settlement Act. You have Cox's commissioner Gene Shawcroft, writing AGAINST giving the 1st People THEIR OWN WATER. Now, I am sure Gene is LDS, and would want Native Americans to have running water in their home's. Flushing toilets. I know that Gene would not ever believe that he, his family, and other entitled Utahn's are not better than 1st People's. He would share THEIR water with them. He would never let his mother drive 5 miles to get buckets of water. Get these people THEIR WATER. It is not yours to decide. Stop playing with their lives. Let them live. Vote for the bill. They are not asking for golf courses. Maybe that's what you're worried about. Or that they will sell their 1/4 rights of the Colorado River to Phoenix. They want running water in their homes, that they have been promised since 1908. Stop stalling. You say you're Christian but I do not see much Christianity. I see that you think white people are more deserving. Give 1st People their water. Vote for the bill.
