I strongly oppose the budget bill due to proposed Medicaid cuts. • No cuts to Medicaid — such cuts would cause widespread harm and prioritize tax breaks for the wealthy over vulnerable Idahoans lives. • Proposed Medicaid cuts would cause preventable deaths and force healthcare providers to shut down, affecting millions more than the bill intends. • Over 8 million people would lose insurance, possibly 13.5 million if ACA tax credits aren’t renewed. I demand you speak out, write against, and vote NO on this bill.
