Did you see the No Kings Protests across this state and throughout this nation? There were rallies from Murphy to Manteo and nearly every town in between. We The People want democracy. We The People want human rights. And, We The People want to maintain solid relationships with our traditional allies. What is happening to our nation is an abomination. It is an insult to our Founding Fathers and to the very principles upon which the United States was founded. North Carolinians in each of the 100 counties are watching you, Mr. Senator. We demand that you start acting on behalf of democracy, and that you stop kissing the ring of this autocratic administration. With all due respect, please remember, Mr. Senator, that you work for us, the citizens of North Carolina.
