Subject: Oppose Any Escalation or Support for War with Iran
Dear Senator's Booker & Kim,
I am writing as a constituent deeply alarmed by the current escalation toward military conflict with Iran. This conflict was initiated under the direction of an individual who has been convicted of serious crimes, and I believe it represents an unjust and unnecessary war that places American lives, global stability, and our democratic values at risk.
I expect my elected representatives to uphold the Constitution, exercise independent judgment, and prevent the United States from being drawn into aggressive or politically motivated military actions. Congress has both the authority and the responsibility to act as a check on executive overreach, especially when decisions of war and peace are involved.
I am asking you to:
Publicly oppose any authorization, funding, or support for military escalation with Iran.
Demand full transparency and accountability regarding the decision-making that led to this conflict.
Reassert Congress’s constitutional role in matters of war.
I want to be absolutely clear: I will not vote for any member of Congress who supports or enables this unjust war. My vote will go to leaders who prioritize diplomacy, restraint, and the long‑term security of the American people.
This moment requires courage and integrity. I urge you to stand on the side of peace, constitutional governance, and the well‑being of your constituents.
