Reject the Proposed Budget’s Harmful Cuts

To: Gov. Youngkin, Sen. Ebbin, Del. Herring

From: A constituent in Falls Church, VA

February 26

I am writing to express my strong opposition to the GOP’s proposed budget, which grants $4.5 trillion in tax cuts to the wealthiest Americans while cutting essential programs like Medicaid and SNAP. Balancing tax breaks for the rich on the backs of our most vulnerable citizens is unacceptable and morally wrong. These programs are vital lifelines for families, seniors, and children who depend on them for basic healthcare and nutrition. If this budget passes, it will deepen inequality and hardship for millions across the country. I urge you to vote against any proposal that prioritizes the wealthy at the expense of everyday Americans. Please stand with your constituents by rejecting these harmful cuts and protecting programs that help people live with dignity and security. Thank you for your time and consideration.
