The Race in the Oversight Committee

I am writing to ask you to support Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to be the top Democrat in the Oversight Committee. For years, Representative Connolly was my Representative. He is smart, a defender, and has a lot of experience. However, it is time for new leadership. This election has taught us that Democrats have a messaging problem and are accused of ignoring the will of the people. While I don’t agree with the latter, I agree with the former. Media is changing. The people want an effective messenger. I believe Representative Ocasio-Cortez IS an effective messenger. This case is not about being disrespectful or about age. It is more about a change in the game. The world is changing, and we need new ideas and new mediums to communicate those ideas. This is a dire time, and new leadership and new and effective communication is desperately needed
