Putting Colorado First: Prioritizing Unity Over Party

To: Sen. Lundeen, Rep. Bottoms, Gov. Polis

From: A verified voter in Colorado Springs, CO

March 6

I am writing to encourage you to prioritize the needs of Colorado over party politics. In these challenging times, it is more important than ever that we come together as a state to find common ground and focus on solutions that benefit all Coloradans, regardless of political affiliation. Too often, party loyalty and division have taken precedence over the shared values that unite us as a community. Our state faces numerous pressing issues, from economic challenges to healthcare, education, environmental protection, and infrastructure. These are problems that cannot be solved by one political party alone, nor should they be treated as partisan issues. It is essential that our leaders put the well-being of Colorado first, above the interests of any single party. Only through cooperation, compromise, and a collective focus on the greater good can we make the progress needed to ensure a better future for all Coloradans. I urge you and your colleagues to set aside partisanship in favor of finding common-sense solutions that reflect the true spirit of Colorado. Let us come together, as Coloradans, to address the challenges we face and build a stronger, more united state. Thank you for your time and consideration. I trust that you will take the steps necessary to prioritize the health, prosperity, and unity of Colorado over party lines.
