No U.S. Citizen or Legal Resident Should Ever Be Deported or Detained Abroad — Defend the Constitution Now
I am writing to demand immediate action against the Trump regime’s dangerous defiance of the Constitution and the Supreme Court.
Last week, the Supreme Court ordered the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an innocent Maryland father who was wrongfully deported to El Salvador after the government falsely labeled him a gang member—despite a judge ruling in 2019 that he could not be deported due to risk of death or torture. The Trump administration admitted his deportation was an “administrative error” and the Court instructed the U.S. to facilitate his return.
Instead, Trump stood in the Oval Office next to far-right Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele and mocked the ruling—refusing to take responsibility and refusing to bring this man home. Even worse, they smeared Abrego Garcia as a terrorist and doubled down on the idea that he should remain imprisoned abroad—despite his innocence.
This is unconstitutional. It is fascism. It is a direct threat to every American.
Let me be clear:
No U.S. citizen or legal resident should ever be sent to or held in a foreign prison. Period.
That is not justice. That is dictatorship. Trump has even said, “The homegrowns are next,” implying American citizens could be next to face illegal detention abroad.
This is a line that cannot be crossed.
I call on you to immediately:
1. Publicly condemn the Trump regime’s refusal to comply with the Supreme Court.
2. Demand the safe and immediate return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia to his home and family.
3. Introduce or support legislation that explicitly prohibits the detention or transfer of U.S. citizens and legal residents to foreign governments without full due process.
4. Hold any official accountable who violates court orders or authorizes extrajudicial transfers.
This is not theoretical. This is happening right now. If you do not act, history will not judge this moment kindly—and the people will remember who stood up and who stayed silent.
