It’s completely unacceptable that Republicans are home on recess while children and families in our district may go hungry and health insurance premiums skyrocket. House Republicans need to cut the partisan powerplays and get to work. It's your job to do something about the affordability crisis that Republicans are making worse every day. Shutting down the government instead of stopping healthcare costs from exploding and keeping food on families’ tables is cruel and immoral. As your constituent, I'm urging you to publicly call on Speaker Johnson to get the House back to work and pass a bipartisan funding deal to end the shutdown!
