I am writing you today to urge you to protect and continue the IRS Direct File program. This program is extremely useful and valuable to the American public, I was able to use this to file my taxes this year and it was the fastest and easiest method I have ever used. In addition, it connected me to a program to file my state taxes for free which I didn’t know existed. I cannot put into words how beneficial this program is, this is standard in an innumerable number of countries and the Direct File program is still slowly being rolled out to all 50 states. Demand the administration maintains this vitally important program
