Oppose U.S. Withdrawal from NATO

I'm asking you to publicly oppose any attempt by President Trump to withdraw the United States from NATO. This would be a catastrophic mistake that undermines our national security and abandons our closest allies. NATO has kept the peace in Europe for 75 years and remains essential to American security. The alliance doesn't just protect Europe—it protects us. Article 5 has been invoked only once, after 9/11, when our allies came to our defense. Walking away now, especially while threatening to pull out because allies won't join an unpopular war in Iran, sends a message to adversaries like Russia and China that America's word means nothing. Trump himself acknowledged that Putin knows NATO is weak, which is exactly why we need to strengthen the alliance, not destroy it. Withdrawal would leave us isolated, force us to defend interests alone at far greater cost, and create a power vacuum that authoritarian regimes will fill. Two-thirds of Americans already want out of the Iran war. Don't let Trump compound that disaster by dismantling the most successful military alliance in history. Stand up for NATO membership now, before it's too late.
