I am extremely concerned that Donald Trump is appointing unqualified, and unethical, people to be part of his administration. I ask you to use your best, non-partisan, and secular, judgement when considering whether to support these nominations. Two of the most egregious are Matt Gaetz for Attorney General, and Robert F Kennedy for Health and Human Services. The Department of Education is also an important part of our government. We cannot allow facts to be treated as if they don’t matter, the Bible or the Ten Commandments to be required teaching, or books and/or classes about marginalized groups of people to be banned. The people that Donald Trump is considering do not have any place leading an educational system which exists for ALL children, regardless of skin color, creed, or sex or gender.
