I’m writing to strongly urge you to please support adding Mystic Seaport’s funding request ($4.4 million to revitalize the Wells Building) to the state bonding commission agenda. - Mystic Seaport Museum attracts 250,000 visitors to Southeastern Connecticut and generates nearly $50 million for the state economy annually. - Bipartisan legislative support: including Rep. Stephen Meskers (Greenwich), co-chair of the Commerce Committee, has been a vocal advocate, calling for the project to be included. - As a lifelong Connecticut resident and voter, it is vitally important that we do everything possible to protect and preserve our state’s cultural heritage and historic sites. Please support adding Mystic Seaport’s funding request ($4.4 million to revitalize the Wells Building) to the state bonding commission agenda. Thank you.
