Thank you for your email responding to my letter. I have to point out, however, that you are not being honest and transparent about Donald Trump’s big beautiful betrayal of the American people. This bill will trim snap and Medicaid and Medicare… The administration is already undermining Social Security by their reduction in offices and staff. “Fraud and abuse” is code for cutting funds to vulnerable people and “tax cuts for hard-working Americans” is code for tax cuts for the super rich, which will add in despicable ways to the US debt. Shame on you. Your constituents do not want this bill. You are misleading us. We want programs that support the vulnerable and working class communities. We believe in the middle class and the common good. We are in dangerous times and we expect you to stand up for ALL your constituents.
