NO on the NDAA!

To: Rep. Onder

From: A verified voter in Jefferson City, MO

December 9

Vote NO on the FY26 NDAA. America’s military should welcome all qualified people who are willing to serve. But the Trump administration has ended programs and initiatives that help prevent discrimination against Black people and other people of color, women, and LGBTQ+ people in the armed forces, which will likely deter enlistment of individuals from different backgrounds and identities and cause servicemembers to separate from service, *weakening our national security*. The current draft of the NDAA would codify these actions into law and affirmatively prohibit actions to ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion in the armed services. Congress should *not* rubberstamp the Trump administration’s discrimination agenda! Passing the NDAA with these provisions included would harm our national security and set a dangerous precedent that would empower the administration and its allies to include similar language in other bills. Vote NO on the FY26 NDAA!
