Democrats must use every tool at their disposal to fight any budget reconciliation bill that shovels more taxpayer dollars to ICE and Border Patrol. ICE and Border Patrol already have the budget of a small army last year, thanks to last year’s legislation, and now they're trying to use the reconciliation process to give these agencies billions more. And speaking of billions of dollars, this reconciliation bill is supposed to give another 10-figure amount to the White House ballroom, a monument to the most corrupt US president that ever existed, in a bait and switch that was supposed to be privately funded. It’s insanity that this can even be considered! Please vote NO on the reconciliation legislation and use all available leverage to delay, obstruct, and build public opposition to Republicans’ backwards spending priorities.
