Stop Fascism. Start Fighting. Before It’s Too Late. Like her or not, Liz Cheney is right: this is not just politics as usual. This is a full-blown authoritarian consolidation of power — with the executive branch, the Supreme Court, and both chambers of Congress being used as tools to destroy our democracy. And what are you doing? Sending fundraising emails? We don’t need more “strongly worded statements.” We need you to ACT. Right now. While we still have a Constitution to defend. Here’s what you must do — specifically: 1. Form a permanent, civilian-powered investigative coalition to archive corruption, constitutional violations, and human rights abuses in real-time. Bring in veterans, watchdog groups, lawyers, and whistleblowers. If Congress won’t hold hearings — hold public ones. Build a living record for future prosecutions. 2. Sign and ratify the Rome Statute. Join the ICC. End the hypocrisy. If the U.S. truly stands for human rights and international law — prove it. Force the GOP and this regime to explain why they fear international accountability. Invite ICC inspectors to observe what’s happening inside our borders. Publicly welcome global oversight and cooperation on crimes against humanity. 3. Fund state-level resistance. Establish legal defense networks, sanctuary city infrastructure, and encrypted digital protection tools. Get real about rapid-response funding. If federal systems are hijacked, the fight shifts local — and you must resource it. 4. Launch a national public education campaign. Textbank rights education, multilingual “Know Your Rights” toolkits, protest safety guides, encrypted communication training, and whistleblower support hotlines. We need survival infrastructure, not slogans. 5. Go around the media blackout. Partner with BBC, Al Jazeera, Reuters, The Guardian, Le Monde, Der Spiegel — whoever will carry the truth. If U.S. media won’t tell the full story, leak it globally. Use Substack, Mastodon, Bluesky — anywhere free speech still lives. 6. Establish a digital haven for defectors. Create anonymous, secure channels for MAGA insiders and federal employees who want out — and protect them. Some of them are ready to testify. Let them. 7. Investigate the machine behind Trump — not just the man. Target the architects of Project 2025, the enforcers violating court orders, the staffers implementing unlawful policies. Take out the scaffolding beneath the dictator, not just the figurehead. This is no longer about politics. This is about survival. This administration is vanishing people. It’s rewriting law by executive fiat. And if you keep responding with caution, emails, and floor speeches — you’ll go down as the Congress that let democracy die on their watch. We want justice. We want courage. We want accountability. We demand action. Now. The deportation buses are idling. The ICC is watching. So are we.
