I want to take a moment to invite you and your colleagues to read Articles I and II of the Constitution and think critically if you're upholding your part. I want to invite you to think about whether you're representing anyone's needs in North Carolina, or if you're only representing yourself and the needs o f the President and his cronies. You should be ashamed at how you uphold your duties, your lack of principles and integrity in the most desperate time our country has faced since the Civil War. How can you think that it's okay to approve these grossly unqualified candidates to cabinet positions? How can you think it's okay to let the President and Elon Musk run rampant through the government, killing everything that displeases them? There is currently no execution of oversight in the face of a blatant disregard for the law. You should be mad as hell right now. And yet you claim to represent the electorate by sitting on your hands and voting as you're told. How brave. How do you sleep at night? The only thing that evil needs to prevail is for good men to do nothing. This fascist takeover of our government is happening live and televised. What side do you want to be remembered for supporting?
