Senator Jarvis, I am a constituent from Davidson county and am asking that you reject SB 382. This bill, though it presents to give aid to our fellow Carolinians who have been dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, would undermine our Governor’s powers regarding appointing members to the state BOE and transferring it to the state auditor. Also the changes to mail in and provisional ballots aim to further disenfranchise NC voters. Please consider rejecting this bill. If aid to western North Carolinians is the aim then have a separate bill for that. Thank you.
