The Supreme Court is intended to be an impartial body that upholds the rule of law and constitutional principles. However, recent revelations about Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito have cast doubt on their ability to remain unbiased and ethical in carrying out their duties. Justice Thomas failed to disclose substantial gifts and benefits received from wealthy donors, including luxury vacations paid for by a prominent Republican partisan. His wife's activism in efforts to overturn the 2020 election results also raises concerns about conflicts of interest that he did not adequately address through recusals. Justice Alito similarly failed to recuse himself from cases involving parties with whom he had personal connections and accepted undisclosed benefits. This apparent corruption and lack of judicial ethics poses a grave threat to the Court's legitimacy and the foundation of our democracy. The justices must be held accountable to preserve faith in the impartiality of the third branch of government. Therefore, I urge you to support the articles of impeachment filed against Justices Thomas and Alito to protect the integrity of the Supreme Court and uphold the principles of equal justice under law.
