Hello Senator Mike rounds from South Dakota has introduced legislation that will abolish the department of education . I hope I do not need to emphasize what a horrific and evil decision that would be for millions of students in college and in high school and so on . Many many students rely on the services provided to be able to afford to go to school like disability services , loans , fafsa, etc . I know at least 2 of you are parents yourselves , do you want this for your kids and their classmates ? I would imagine not . Student loan debt is already sending people into a never ending cycle of poverty this will only make that worse as well as make education inaccessible to many.
