Vote no on HB 88

To: Rep. Turner

From: A constituent in Dayton, OH

April 6

I am writing to oppose HB 88. I do not believe that adding increased penalties to individuals who did not knowingly posses fentanyl, would be beneficial to addicted people and society in general. This bill adds an estimated 60 million annual cost to taxpayers for increased incarceration. Treatment should be prioritized, not draconian sentences. Please take into consideration opposing this bill to save taxpayers in your state money and show that Ohio considers drug addiction treatment the best co urse of action over lengthy prison sentences.
