I’m writing to request that you remove Senator Schumer from his position as minority leader. His decision to vote for cloture which will result in the partisan continuing resolution passing shows that he is not up to this moment. He fails to understand that the country is in a constitutional crisis. Senator Schumer would prefer to act like business as usual which is not enough for this moment. President Trump is a bully who will keep pushing until someone stands up to him. Senator Schumer’s failure to mobilize the Senate to oppose him shows Senator Schumer is too timid, vacillating, and weak for this moment. Remove him as Minority Leader immediately.
