Trump has admitted that his children have access to inside information when making business decisions. There are no two ways to say this. Having iside information is insider trading, and it is a crime. The mass corruption and self dealing in this administration is not only unethical and often illegal. It is a scam on the American people and often theft of our tax dollars. Overwhelming majorities of Americans view political corruption as a massive problem. A Brennan Center for Justice survey found that 92% of voters (including roughly equal supermajorities of Democrats, Republicans, and independents) believe corruption is a major issue permeating government institutions. A Pew Research Center poll found that 61% of Americans believe Trump has definitely or probably used his office improperly to enrich himself, his friends, or his family. Notably, 31% of Republicans agreed with this sentiment. A June Fox News poll found that 54% of voters believed Trump's economic policies mostly benefit people with more money, directly tying into public criticism over his personal cryptocurrency ventures and conflicts of interest. This is a real problem for the Republican party as well as for the Every day Americans that Trump's corruption affects.
