I’m writing to you as a concerned constituent to urge you in the strongest possible terms: please do not support the legislation currently being promoted as the “Big Beautiful Bill.” Behind the name and political theater lies a bill that would devastate millions of ordinary Americans while padding the pockets of the already powerful. It guts essential services, weakens protections for workers and vulnerable communities, and chips away at the rights and freedoms that define this country. This bill isn’t about helping people. It’s about consolidating power, rewarding corporate donors, and forcing a narrow, extremist agenda onto the rest of us. It puts ideology over common sense and cruelty over compassion. We need legislation that lifts people up—not pushes them down. We need leaders who remember who they work for—not just the wealthy few, but the everyday Americans who struggle to make ends meet, who need affordable healthcare, strong public schools, clean air and water, and a functioning democracy. I urge you to vote NO. Don’t let this big ugly abomination become law.
