The absurd, mad, and utterly insane saber rattling by Donald J Trump is entirely the fault of the gutless, craven GOP members of the US House of Representatives and Senate. Senator Tillis, your lackluster about-face comes far too late to save your political history. You and Senator Budd have supported and encouraged the lawlessness of a man you both know to be a thief, a man who never should have taken a seat in The Oval Office. Now you have to clean up this mess. You must protect The Joint Chiefs of Staff from unlawful orders. You have to make our allies—every sovereign nation—whole in their trust of United States support for NATO, Stop Donald Trump from this dangerous, idiotic, immoral and outrageous game.
