Please stand up against President Trump's push to dismantle education and science in America. Institutions such as the Department of Education, the National Institutes of Health, and even the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration contribute enormously to Americans' daily lives, and are absolutely key to our nation's readiness to meet current and future challenges, including those of national security. This whirlwind of "shock and awe" might be a valid tactic against an enemy, but it should never be used against your own people. How can our nation compete on the global stage when we've defunded education and scientific and medical research? How can you claim to stand for Montanans or even your countrymen if you allow this to happen? Stand up to your party and your president for what is right.
