I urge you to speak out in Congress to support the continuation of federal funding for NPR and PBS. The executive branch has started the process to defund them, which would take away 8% of their total income. This radio and television station serve unique purposes in the media in terms of objectivity and fairness. They speak a public voice rather than influenced by the owners or ideology of the owners of other media. It is imperative that objective media coverage be preserved in America. The president’s actions put led roll in jeopardy.
