I am writing today to protest the use of Camp Atterbury as a holding facility for whatever people ICE picks up. ICE has shown time and time again they have no regard whether or not a person is here legally, a citizen, a veteran, undocumented but living here and being a productive citizen. They are kidnapping children at school, taking people from Sunday services, and even go so far as invading Little League baseball games to try to pressure children into giving up their parents. The tactics are brutal and there appears to be no regard for the Constitution or accountability. Picking random people up off the streets based upon how they look is a practice used by the worst despotic regimes. It is simply un-American and has no place in Indiana. It has no support by decent people. Please do everything you can to stop these atrocities from happening here.
