ICE is unconstitutional in its actions, lawless in its own chain of command, and a cancer to our communities. Their ties and overlap to existing military and law enforcement truly terrify me because it means that I’m always surrounded by white supremacists who see women as property. In NH, yeah we’ve got our suspicions, but at least in the past they had the decency for shame. I’ve seen an increasing number of swastikas around Manchester, more and more of my friends identifying as “Libertarian”, and this deep fear I have in my gut for the children growing up here keeps growing. Not even NH is safe from this, wake up, look closer, and demolish ice. Do not ‘scale back’, Do not ‘improve operations’, Do not ‘increase oversight’ — it’s way too late for that. Do the right thing, defund ICE.
