I am writing to you as a deeply concerned citizen and constituent to formally call for the impeachment of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. His conduct in office has been reckless, dangerous, and fundamentally incompatible with the duties of a public servant entrusted with protecting the health and welfare of the American people. Since assuming office, Mr. Kennedy has repeatedly undermined public health institutions, gutted scientific advisory boards, and replaced qualified experts with ideologues. Most alarmingly, his mass firing of the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP)—amidst a growing measles outbreak—and his failure to appoint a new CDC director demonstrate a catastrophic failure of leadership when clear, evidence-based guidance is urgently needed. His administration’s disorganized and ideologically driven actions have endangered children and vulnerable populations nationwide. The consequences of his actions are not theoretical—they are already being measured in illness and public confusion. Equally troubling is his longstanding and well-documented financial entanglement with anti-vaccine organizations, including his continued role in Children’s Health Defense. He has refused to recuse himself from lawsuits against vaccine manufacturers in which he holds a direct financial interest. This is a gross conflict of interest and an ethical violation of the highest order. RFK Jr. has spread disinformation and conspiracy theories about vaccines, COVID-19, and other public health issues, using his office to amplify pseudoscience while weakening public trust in life-saving interventions. He has promoted figures and movements rooted in extremism and conspiratorial thinking, damaging the integrity of our public discourse and national security. Additionally, Mr. Kennedy’s and his appointee Marty Makary’s attacks on the FDA and efforts to roll back food and drug safety regulations put all Americans at risk. His push to deregulate food safety oversight and sideline career scientists has already resulted in lowered standards for pathogen testing, and raises grave concerns about the implementation of a non-scientific product approval processes. These moves prioritize ideological interests over the health of American families. As a constituent, I am outraged by his overreach, science denial, and his persistent efforts to dismantle the very institutions designed to protect us. His behavior is not only a betrayal of the public trust—it is a clear and present danger to the health and safety of our nation. I urge you to act immediately to begin the process of impeachment proceedings against Robert F. Kennedy Jr. His continued presence in public office is untenable and threatens the well-being of every American. Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter. I am counting on you to uphold your oath of office and defend the principles of truth, science, and ethical leadership.
