Restrict Government Surveillance and Protect Individual Privacy Rights
To: Sen. Budd, Rep. Moore, Sen. Tillis

The ongoing consolidation of Americans' personal data by the Trump administration through Palantir's technology is a disturbing overreach that threatens civil liberties. Centralizing information from across federal agencies into a comprehensive dossier on citizens undermines privacy rights without public consent or oversight. This level of surveillance is unacceptable in a free society. I urge you to investigate this unilateral effort and enact measures to restrict the government's ability to compile personal data indiscriminately. Protecting individual privacy must be prioritized over unrestrained data collection that could enable abuses of power. Citizens have a reasonable expectation that their information will not be aggregated into a master file unless they are under criminal investigation with proper due process. Unchecked government surveillance chills civil liberties and is antithetical to American values of freedom. Please take action to prohibit this unaccountable violation of constitutional rights.
