Enforce Your Rulings — No More Tolerance for Defiance
To the Justices of the United States Supreme Court,
I write today as a citizen who believes in the rule of law and the solemn authority of this Court. That authority is now being tested in the most dangerous way possible — by willful defiance from a former president and his administration.
Despite your clear ruling that the United States must facilitate the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an innocent Maryland resident who was unlawfully deported, the Trump administration has refused to comply. Not only have they failed to act — they’ve weaponized semantics, evaded accountability, and insulted the very concept of judicial authority.
This is not mere negligence. It is calculated defiance.
Judge Paula Xinis has already called out the administration’s blatant obstruction and has rightfully moved toward depositions and discovery. I ask this Court to go further:
• Reassert your authority. Make clear that no branch — and no president — is above the law.
• Enforce compliance. Demand immediate action and transparent timelines from the administration to return Mr. Abrego Garcia.
• Support contempt findings. If they continue to obstruct, they must face real consequences, including contempt of court and personal accountability for those responsible.
If this Court allows its rulings to be ignored without consequence, then the Constitution is no longer the supreme law of the land — and we are no longer a nation governed by laws.
This is not about partisanship. This is about preserving the authority of the judiciary, defending the rights of individuals, and upholding the rule of law. You are the final guardians of the Constitution. I urge you to act like it.
With deep respect and greater urgency,
