I want to ask you why you are allowing DOGE to strip mine our data. Do you understand that data is the new oil and the personal data of millions of Americans is being harvested for the benefit of Elon Musk? To train artificial intelligence you need vast amounts of data. Existing LLMs like OpenAI have been trained on all available public data and have run out of new, large datasets to tap. Elon Musk bought his way into government to access the largest private datasets left, government data. By allowing him to access our data you are giving him a competitive advantage in building his LLM, Grok. Why is this a problem? Our health data, state secrets, and financial data should not be used to train artificial intelligence. By allowing him access to these datasets and connect databases that are isolated from each other for good reasons you are creating the worst security risk our country has ever faced. Bad actors can hack into the unsecured servers DOGE is using to steal our data. AI will be able to make connections between our bank account data, our health data and personal data that no one wants exposed. It may already be too late to stop these treasonous actions but I urge you to cut off DOGE access to our most private data and ask for transparency about where that data has been shared.
Thank you for protecting the privacy and security of Minnesotans.
