I urge you to reject HUD's policy reversal on Emotional Support Animals and continue to allow untrained animals to serve this lifesaving role. 1. Dangerous and nuisance animals can be disallowed under current law. 2. Not everyone can get a program trained dog. Owner training involves starting with an untrained dog. 3. There aren't any tasks needed for a comfort animal. 4. ESAs help people remain alive and functional.
