Vote Chuck Schumer out of Senate Democratic leadership. After Tuesday's results, this caucus has a mandate for bold, aggressive action, and that requires a leader who matches the moment. Schumer's tenure has been defined by caution when the situation called for confrontation. The opposition has spent years playing hardball with no apologies, and Democrats keep showing up to a knife fight with a handshake. That approach has cost us. A new Senate leader needs fire, a clear vision for where this party is going, and zero interest in triangulating toward people who will never vote for us anyway. The majority of this country is not locked into right-wing politics. That is a coalition worth fighting for, loudly and without hedging. Schumer can still serve and advise, but the direction of this caucus needs fresh hands and a sharper edge. Choose a leader who will take that fight seriously.
